Spooky-nightsUK.com returned to The Old Toll House, Peterborough where we welcomed TeamGreen Paranormal Investigations to explore the location. It was an interesting night with some lively activity on the Ouija board and some names to research. But sometimes it's after the investigation that we pick up certain things. Orbs. Loads of them! Below you will find more pictures from the night. I have adjusted the brightness around the orbs so that you can get a clearer look - the originals are available on Facebook here.

The Old Toll House
The first group upstairs
We started with the ouija board but nothing was happening, Angie & Janet went to sit in the room at the end of the corridor to do a vigil.
Dave started to pick up on a man called Duggard, who was a drunk and a bit of a groper, he had died in the building whislt using a block & tackle, The Janet & Angie returned from their vigil and told me how it had gone really cold in the room and they had seen a white mist and an orb, Angie picked up on a man called Micheal about 5ft 11 tall, around 40 looking haggered wearing a leather apron the year was 1911.
We then continued on the ouija board contacting a spirit called Edward age 20, died 1840, lived in Peterborough, he was murdered by someone with the initials N.B. He worked as the forman in the building with 108 men under him loading and unloading boats. He then spelled out the name of one of the ladies in the group, husband.
We then got a new spirit on the board who spelled the number D665 as his name, he was a french prisoner of war, he died in 1836 by hanging in the building. He had been on a ship called NAUN.
Second group in bar
We had the glass fast on the bar straight away using the k2 meter as a yes the spirit told us that he had communicated with me before, he liked men,he had worked here.
with a little help from Helen the medium we found out that he had been involved in games hurting little boys and one such boy had died and he tried to cover it up. He said that he hated John in our group because he reminded him of his elder brother who had made him abuse the boys. They used to sell the boys for the pleasure of men in authority. We established that his name was Jon. We then used the board to talk to him.
He spelled his surname as NLBLM? He died in 1929 it was an accident he was pushed from the building whilst playing around.The boy who died was called Frankie and Jon's brother was 65 years old, Jon was a cook in the building and it was a house at the time.
Third group upstairs
Dave the medium opened up everyone in the group and some people were feeling a breeze but there were no windows open at all,Kelly felt a heaviness on her chest and her heart rate was speeding up but as soon as she moved from the location she was at that all went away. John could smell cigar smoke and the name Robert was mentioned.
On the ouija board we contacted a female age 63 died 1929, she said she was Jon's wife but then said that she was Jon but his wife was there. When asked for his surname he spelled the letters BNLN this is very similar to what was spelled befor in the bar, however this was a different group.

Team Leader report for Toll House
Started off with my team down in the Bar room, with Helen the Medium. We started off with a seance and Helen sensed the spirit of a man in his 40 - 50's who had ginger hair and a beard, with pitted skin who did not want us in that room. He worked with his hands, was wearing a leather apron and was someone who would lash out. One of the customers called Claire sensed the spirit of a dark haired man with a beard (looked something like Peter Sutcliffe), who worked here and used to demand money.
We tried to do some glass divination on the bar with no success and also tried some table tipping with no results.
We then done a ouija session and connected with a lady called Alice Turndike, born in 1928, died 1948 she was attacked at work and pushed down some stairs and died. The man responsible was not bought to justice as there was a cover up, he was a figure in authority, and her death was made to look like an accident. Her dad worked on the canals, she had a sister called Katie who died of Typhoid.
After tea break we then went to the top level of the Toll House and were joined by Dave the Medium. Dave sensed the spirit of a man called Dougard who worked there in the 1830's - 1840's, Dougard was affecting the planchette which had a pen attached and there was a lot of movement across the page. From answers given on 3 pendulums simultaenously, we were told that Dougard was drunk at work when he slipped on a plank and fell over the edge of a boat hitting his head on the way down. Dougard was found once the boat had moved. We then moved to one of the store cupboards at the end of the corridor on the right. The atmosphere felt very heavy in this room, we conducted a ouiji session and the first thing that was spelt was Help! A lady was connecting but when we asked her to spell her name it came through as NHUD, she said she was searching for her husband, was 19 years old and had a baby son, but unfortunately we then had to break for coffee.
During free time I joined some customers who wanted to go up to the back storeroom on the right. We started with a group seance during which a lady called claire was pushed so I asked that someone else could now be affected so the whole group could experience some activity. Almost as soon as i said that Claires partner, Aidy had a sharp stabbing pain in his right arm that went all the way down to his hand and his feet felt that they were burning, Aidy left the room immediately and the pains were gone shortly after. Di and myself also felt oursleves being pushed in that room and i had my hair being touched. Helen the medium felt that there was a very angry man in there, and I sensed that there had been a fight in that area.
At the end of the evening when Gary was doing a de-brief another customer also stated that they had felt pain in their arms down to their hands in that area as well.
